If you do an oil analysis before and after, you will 100 % of the time find the silicon level in your oil will go up with the K&N. Silicon = sand. Most stock filters on a diesel will flow air a lot better than you think. Filter tech has come a long way.

We had a provincial govt that cleaned most of this up. They also got into a pis*ing match with the teachers union who made sure they lost the next election. The party that one has a history of "courting the immigrant vote" and likely will never fix this. We just had an election that the welfare...

Hopefully, if they are aware that the auto industry is in trouble (and THEY should be) and they know that expedite is still an auto sensitive business, they won't see dollar signs. Ark is right to a point, if GM has to build in $900 to $1200 into the price of a car for legacy (largely health)...

They are a good idea, better idea if you have a Tractor Trailer. I've had Lincoln, Vogel and Groneveld systems and the Groneveld was hands down the best followed by the Vogel. It is important that you get a quality installation. Care must be taken to route the lines so that they don't get torn...

Summersville WV on US 19 (the I79 to I77 shortcut). You could be going 10 below the limit and get a ticket, it's guaranteed if you have out of state plates. They almost threw my Dad in jail because he asked to see the radar gun!

Terry, you have it figured out better than some of the trucking companies I've worked for!!! Great post!!! I'm amazed at the amount of companies and O/O's who work the other way, They think that $1.35 a mile is good money so the profit will take care of itself. Then fuel or insurance goes up...

Michelin XZE or Bridgestone R250 both good tires for that spec. Both also will run out as summer drives if you choose to do so later. Can't recommend any cheap steers, never liked to scrimp on the most important tires.;)
