    Pay, % vs fixed

    Looking for opinions about Pay. Some carriers pay a fixed rate and pay something (usually just enough to cover the fuel) for deadhead. Others pay a % of the load and not much else. My question is what do you prefer and why? Are there any ugly pitfalls to either that you have found?

    RE: Fuel additives for 2007 models with new gov't All additives from Stanadyne are OK with ULSD. For what it's worth, GM and VW are OK with Stanadyne in thier 2007/8 diesels. The key thing is you can't overdose anymore, you have to use the additive as recommended.
