Steve, sorry for your los and know that you ad yours are in my prayers...and yes as you and I and several others have stated, EVERYONE is welcome to post here...while we might not always agree, no one should feel they can't contibute...

Now..Gruene TX..WOW...what a tourist Trap!! But i loved it!!!

Bubba's BIG Deck..right on the river, with rope swings and rope lines across the river..no, i didn't go there , Too old, i stayed dry and enjoyed lunch and good conversation with a few locals..then I went to "Abobe Verde" Tex Mex Cocina Y Cantina for dinner...Yeap, I will go back again!!! The HALL (Thanks Xiggi and Golf) is still there. but not open for lunch or early dinner..something tells me if I went back later, (there was a tour bus and trailer unloading) I would enjoy myself, but, No...not to night...

So thanks Golf and Xiggi for the recommendation...loved it..LOL. I also spent $124.00 on T-Shirts for my kids and me at Adobe Verde!!! Got to have something to remember the place!!!

Now...at the Pilot on I-35 south on New Braunsfels for the night...figurin Dispatch will work their magic and get me out of here tomorrow...if not...Gruene TX for dinner again...:D

PS: Shadow, Please PM me, I nned to take care of business with you....

Sitting at home dejected after discovering Ontario regs for logbooks is 9900# and not 12500# that I somehow thought it was. Puts the kaibash on box van I was going to buy  but now has me possibly doing the unthinkable ie: looking at Sprinters...:eek::eek:

Have you considered what I bought or what Chef has? A nice alternative to a Sprinter, anyway..

I will get the hot water situation checked out in the morning. Joe in dispatch sent me an email tonight on it.

I guess this is a situation where it is not good to be in hot water...lol..

I thought it was strange that we would run out of hot water so quickly when the washer was being used...Made those showers real eye openers in the morning! Have you considered those hot water heaters that dont have the traditional tank to them? It's just a box that mounts on the wall, and they never run out of hot water..I think it is called on demand water heaters..Cost is higher initially, but the return is paid off over a few years on how efficient they are.

Did a load today, van did real good with 1,500# from the rear axle back.I really think there is a dually rear axle and suspension under this, it rides stiff until loaded, alot stiffer than the old one.14.5 mpg on the way down here, which surprised me, the best yet.I want to see 16 out of it eventually. With a few modifications, it is possible.Thank you.:)

Thanks Ron. Yeah, I wouldn't care to go through the last few months again, but things change and you can either adapt or feel sorry for yourself. Am I hurting, sure. Losing someone close is something you never get over, you just get used to it.

I've learned that the one fact that lasts forever is the fact that nothing lasts forever. Once you accept that, you just adapt and move on.
