Empty in Buda Tx...11.5 hrs early...at the local Wally World for the night. Will make a decision on where to head to from here in the morning...thinking not much freight originates from Buda....
BUT!! There is a Logans Steak and Roadhouse across the street from where I am sittng...
And there is a really nice breeze blown in the drivers door window, so no need for the AC tonight....

As Chef has pointed out...Isnt it amazing how not once has there been an argument on here,on the Load One forum, and, low and behold,Camerashy Cheri changes all of that?And then, to top it off, I never even commented until now,but yet, she manages to bring me into this with a little comment about me to another person? Not exactly a graceful entry into a new company, that's for sure!...lol.

If you want some really great barbecue, check out the Salt Lick. The peach cobbler is the best in Texas. Not to far from Buda. As a kid, I used to work at the cement plant there in Buda. Not much there.
I talked to my aunt yesterday in Austin. She said it reached a 100 deg. Man I miss it! Lol

Good morning, the Salt Lick is about 10 miles from Buda out in the country. North of Manchaca. Big place. Folks go there all day and night long for barbecue. It is really great stuff! Yummm, I'm getting hungry for it.
Another barbecue icon is the Iron Works in downtown Austin. Great beef ribs.

Don't mean to burst your bubble, buttttt gonna get to about 98 there today in central Tx. You can go to lounge in the Guadelupe river in New Braunfels. Nice cool clean water. Be careful tho, if you fall a sleep you'll end up in the Gulf of Mexico! Lol

A little town called Gruene (pronounced green) has some good eats and a great Honky Tonk and you can float in a tube there also. Just outside of New Braunfels. There is a big Coleman plant/store there. (if its still open)

My wife is from Sioux Falls, tooo cold in the winter. If it gets below 60 I am freezing! Lol

no kidding..I just turned on the heat...supposed to get t-storms for the next few days and it's windy..so cold and damp.
Friday ran a Nashville to the yard. Yesterday got a Columbus, oh to Elk Grove Village, IL. Hanging at walmart there now only sprinter in the Windy City area so looking for something today. I do have to be home this weekend so that might limit my options a little.
