The dock is planning one heck of a 4th of July party. If your in the neighborhood, let me know. We can see the fireworks in stereo from Ft. McHenry and inner harbor.
Lots of food, swimming pool and bull! I have parking for 1 st truck if Wombat doesn't make it. The TA is 1.8 miles from the marina. We'll pick you up and deliver. We will make you feel at home.

I was one of several who complained about the excessive amount of personal chitchat [not of general interest, and BTW: not 'banter', either - look it up.] that made the Location thread useless for it's express purpose. You were one of the group who felt that posting whatever, wherever, is acceptable, as long as you feel like it. [The flap over wallpapering the Soapbox didn't show you how people feel about being drowned out, I guess, or it's true: you really don't care what anyone else thinks, & you do whatever you like.

I repeat: when anyone outside 'the group' posts a location, it seems out of place among the conversation, an unwelcome [and generally ignored] intrusion. Nice job of making everyone feel welcome, 'guys'.
....now your feelings are hurt when you come in here and within your 1st 5 post start telling us (particularly Golf how to do things....sorry, that isn't how to make yourself welcome....
Didn't tell Golf what to do - I said "it's a little late" meaning YOU already posted it: a criticism not for general conversation, so why post it? That's the question you aren't addressing while you deflect the criticism by insulting me. ["Amazing how many think alike here" INDEED!]

As i said, you are as welcome as anyone else, if a post doesn't fit your taste, maybe everyone would be best served if you just didn't respond to it.
I think it's you who would be best served, as it's usually one of your comments I disagree with, and you don't care for the response. Oh well.
pick and choose what you repond to, like we all do..as several have in this case, including myself when your post told Golf how he should do things....

Oh, it was me you were taking the shot at..Thats ok , but you should have just said it to me to begin with instead of using Golfs post and you would have avoided all of this...

Now I had a long post typed but decided not to go there, but to just cover a few things...

I posted what I did, because we do that here..We not only are the biggest cheerleaders for Load 1, but we also share "issues" with each other..as John said:

My 2 cents;

One welcome aboard Cherri. Two we may have spirited debates and such on here but we are still one company and one family. That is one of the biggest things that makes us not one of these other carriers. We do not just talk the talk we live it. I have never seen a group of people and a company that goes out of it's way to take care and watch over each other. Banter and debate is all good, but I don't want to lose what we have ALL helped to build. Our integrity and reputation as a company is worth more to me than just about anything.

But you have made it clear while you will support the company and John and dispatch (and that is appreciated believe me), you don't place the "people" on this end as your priority:

I had all the time and then some.....
Averaged 25.25 mpg's at almost smack on 1600 miles aveage price was 3.94 a gallon.....spent $248.40....FSC paid....$332....

so I made some money on the deal....:D

forgot the dh of 179 miles....still costs 277.37!

Like I said...had alot of time and got here just when Jeremy wanted it....without pushing myself....and I figured it might be a lower rate load since Frankie never worked out the split again...BUT I figured wrong...Jeremy gave me the #'s....over a buck a mile ALL miles.....:D
