dont get a bigger shell but glad to see another quality expediter added to the team. we dont like to see lots of people sign on but could care less about how many good expediters join. that is the difference here or at least from my point of view.

That is a great comment.. Adding contractors only when needed is the great thing about how Load 1 does business, but when the chance to get a quality contractor come along, it works to benefit everyone when they are added...There are still people on here and out here that think the things we say about how it works a Load 1 is not the truth...when Load 1 adds quality hard working people that have been successful at the previous carriers, it simply adds to further how great a place this is to lease to...So again Turtle, Welcome home...And Thanks Load 1 for bring him into the fold!! :)

Turtle....Thanks for putting the bullseye on me....:p
No problem. I believe in giving credit where credit is due. :D

I think the fact that, the lack of "playing" the game has a value that can be added in, over here....
From my perspective, it's not just a value to be added in, it's everything. It's huge. Everything stems from that. Having to play the game puts the focus on the game, instead of the customer which is where it belongs. When you don't have to waste time and effort playing the games, it puts everyone on the same page, and on the same team with the same goals - that of giving the customer the best service possible and of exceeding the customer's expectations at every opportunity.

The 13th of August was my 1 year anniversary...I am not a big numbers guy, so that you won't see....lets just say...everything from top to bottom has been great....I have been OOS more often, home time, and the world did not end.
My stress level is greatly reduced as is my blood pressure..
I'll live a little longer just to hang out and bug John with my words to him.....

"John, I was thinking" ....:D

Just watched the latest episode of IRT.....

Not as good this year. The "Alabama Slammer" needs the door slammed in his face.

JuJu, the bananas didn't work. Still getting the spasms. Doc says it's the nerve regenerating. How long will this last Doc? Don't know Steve. Anything I can do to stop them Doc? Don't think so Steve. Is the sun shining Doc? I think it is, but I'll have to check.

Anymore conversations like this and I'll have a brain spasm.

Nope. It's like an electrical short. No exercise will help. Just have to deal with it till the nerve repairs itself. Maybe if I swallow some electrical tape......

what did my specialist tell me once every 1/16 of an inch in damage is like 6 months of healing....or something like that...Nerve damage takes a long time to heal...

That's about right. According to him, I have about two inches exposed. His stock response is that the nerve will do what it wants to do when it wants to do it. He's a caution he is.

He did a nerve conductivity test before the surgery and wants to do another in six months. He guesstimates that I'm at 80 to 85% now. It was less than 15% before.
