That day was also the first time I got to hear the you can X$$X$$X money hauling "nitro" tell from a trucker that sat across from us. When that guy left Joe said he was full of it lol

Even panther has dropped the rule a couple times. I know a while ago v3 didn't require it. When I worked there xpo did not require it, don't know about today.
lets start with an easy one.....

the only safety factor I can think of off hand is I believe a CDL is required to have a Hazmat endorsement...other then that a CDL is useless and actually a cost burden on a CV driver

FWIW, I don't know anything about this other than what is contained within this thread.
Also, I do not have a CDL. I used to, but dropped the HAZMAT endorsement, and thus surrendered the Class C CDL, after realizing that I had only had 4 placarded loads within the previous 5 years.
I'm also quite sure (although I don't know, but feel 99% confident) that I am not eligible for the award. I am 100% sure that I am not deserving of it, in any case.

I say keep it open to CDL holders only. We don't need a bunch of undocumented cargo van drivers mucking up the democratic process.
Most of the undocumented people I've met aren't so upset about the wall anymore, they've gotten over it!

Write a letter to your Congress Person. They can have Trump contact the Ruskies and have your name added to the Expediter Of The Year list.Since I dropped my CDL a month ago, I guess I'll never get that prize...
I say let the van drivers be apart of the voting also. I believe that most carriers are now allowing non CDL holders to drive vans and sprinters.
