    Insta-Fleet Owner?

I think a combination of trucks from someone that has gone out as well as the age, the 12K doesn't mean much. It is what one would have to put in to make them road worthy. Might be a deal, and then again, maybe not. Have to add up the weight. May have a higher value as scrap metal?

    Insta-Fleet Owner?

Maybe you might want to explain. Your ad or your girlfriends ad says, I HAVE 6 TRUCKS FOR SALE $12,000.O0 FOR ALL 6!!! GETTING OUT OF THE TRUCKING INDUSTRY I believe that is as factual as one can get unless you personally are just doing a solo gig.

    tryed to backhaul friday

Checked with Shawn K on this today as I hadn't heard anything on it. Only changes other than what I listed earlier, are must be out two weeks and on hometime to broker to a undesirable or slow freight area. If your home is in a good freight area, full steam ahead. Any other time is ok.

    Is it just me?

I am pretty much the same way. No interest to call for a price unless I am specing one from the ground up. Certainly not on a used one. I think many are upside down in the loan so individuals are trying anything to get rid of them.

    barry is "backdooring" Talk Radio...

Possibly. But that was tested with Air America attempting to go after Rush Limbaugh. Didn't work. Money will flow to where the audience is. Having a channel whether tv or radio to broadcast another point a view aleady exists. The left or liberals just don't like the results they are getting so...

    barry is "backdooring" Talk Radio...

Is it really equal time, or the message? If we want "equal", then a few might be disappointed. Why? The left/liberals have NBC, ABC, and CBS. The right/conservatives have FOX. So are you saying the right needs two more large networks to be "equal" with the left? Of course, for a fair and...

    2010 Engine test fleets

They say they are getting better fuel economy, but once the cost of the carb fluid is added, I am not so sure? I read a report somewhere that indicated they were more expensive to operate. Outside of that, the other concern is longevity because of the excessive heat. Some of these run...

Just pick your location. Home : Concentra Inc. A driver had to do a regular scheduled one in Detroit, and paid 40 some dollars.

    I love the Cry Babyzzz

I wouldn't get into too much of a rush to tear that box off to haul autos. Cash for clunkers ended today.

barry thinks the people are fools??

This is one of those, "don't try to confuse me with the facts". I am all for Obama's plan when I see the Congress decide they all should be on it. Until then............"watch what they do, and not what they say".

    Dang Gum Pro Heat!!

I wouldn't overlook the obvious. I would recommend checking the belts, oil, and water every other day or 24 hours of operation. Three weeks is a long time depending on how much you use it. We replace belts on these and rigmasters every six months whether they need it or not.

    Dang Gum Pro Heat!!

Maybe just replace the belt sooner? There will be glazing or cracks on it PRIOR to it breaking. Might want to check that from time to time. We have one of these units and have never had that problem. If they wear before say six months, realign the pulleys.

    pay per mile

We have never had a problem getting out of KC. May be a carrier issue? As for Houston, we get out of there fairly well, but to be fair, better than half of the outbound Houston loads are hazmat. N.O/Port Allen area is kinda of the same.

    The Quiet Exodus

The reality is most carriers make money just having a vehicle put on. Everything from QC fees to insurance programs are a revenue generator for many carriers. Same thing with rates. Some loads bid cheaper, but quite a few don't. Many loads are paying more now, than they did a year ago. The...

    pay per mile

That is a pretty sad rate to be sending a DR unit. A broker load would pay more than that.

I am not surprised that anyone would question this? This is our apology payment to the Brazilian government because we hurt their economy when ours tanked.
