We do DOD loads and there hasn't been one time we ever needed a liftgate. Might need them if doing huricanne relief, but even then they aren't really needed. If just hauling water or something, just use a pallet puller.

We have one left on a class 8 Sterling, and after 400k, it so far has been trouble free. We switched back to ICT since we started buying KW's.

There is a app for tethering, but I haven't tried it. Had the new version for about two months. Seems to work well and haven't had any drop calls yet.

Thats a shame. I feel sorry for the dealers that have these on their lots. Any claimed warranty on them is now worthless. They will have to heavily discount them unless they sell them to someone who doesn't know any better.

Ray does a great job on trouble shooting these things. Just a after thought, if it starts and runs, turn your truck ignition to accessory,but don't start engine, and then look at your volt meter. Should say 14V. If nothing happens or shows 12V, as mentioned, wiring or bad alternator.
