    Simple Things

Good to see that there are so many good people in the Expediting Business. When I was on the road I would have people come ask me for money, but I did what some of you people do. I would offer to buy them something to eat. This way you know moneys not going to drugs, or scam. Living in Greece...

E450 Cube van vs Cargo van advice

I did not think of the dock high part. Thanks everyone for the answers as this makes my decision easier. Probably will go with SRW and under 10,000 to start. Have some time still to learn, study but I guess only when I get out there will be able to decide 100% what is best for me.

New Ford transit van information from Europe

The Transits I see in the link above show a manual transmission. Will we be able to get that here, or will we have only the automatic available? Just one thought of potential differences. In Europe almost all vehicles are manual. It is the exact opposite of USA. The automatic transmissions...

New Ford transit van information from Europe

Came about this UK site with versions and prices on Transit van. Looks like they will be around 30K to start and I would think the versions would be similar in USA. Diesel engines are 2.2L. They offer front and rear wheel drive versions. I've seen them in Europe and they look really nice...

    Expediter lanes better states.

I would be following freight and would be leased to one of the middle or larger carriers. Just wanted to know which area would be more active of the two. Thanks.

    Expeditor business + second business?

The business would not interfere with my Expeditor duties. Just kind of a way to pick up new clients while traveling. I would basically be passing out catalogs and a few samples and hoping to get some order at home. It would definitely help kill the downtime! Thanks to all the great information!

    Expeditor business + second business?

Would having a second business alongside the courier be looked upon as a negative with most carriers? This would be a small business run out of my home using internet and phone. What I was thinking if I am in Knoxville and have a few hrs of waiting I could visit a few customers and pass out...
