At the yard.Deliver Tues morning.Word has it a barbecue may be brewing here tomarrow with all of the drivers that are here.May go home for awhile after getting unloaded.Way too much to do, and it has been awhile since I have been home. But, a good load could change all of that...Sorry, Dynamite, I heard you knocking, but, by the time I got outside, everyone was gone...Put the window shade up not to blow you off, but for night time privacy....lol..

And here i was thinkin you had undisclosed company !!!!!!

Yep, if we are here we might as well bbq. Went and checked the grill, it has gas. Ha ha, that's funny. It was a little nasty so I gave it a little clean up. Atleast its not greasy anymore. Now to figure out what everyone wants, go get it and assign chores.

Looks like its gonna be a nice day here.

Good Morning all from Catlettsburg Ky...Beautiful morning here..

Not to be over the top, but lets all take a moment sometime today and say a prayer of thanks to those that "gave some and those that gave all" for us to live the lives we do....

So, in the last 500 mile leg of this load...will make a dinner stop in Hagerstown Md for a nice steak dinner at the "Crazy Horse",ill then run the last 150 or so miles into MaCungie Pa sleep on the edge of the road in ft of my delivery in the long line that I am sure will be there and deliver at 0600 and be ready for dispatch to do their magic...

With that, you all have a great day..and no matter if you atr driving sitting with family or friends or BBQ'in at the yard in Taylor...Enjoy and be safe....:)

THE FREEDOM TO CHOOSE

Did you ever stop and think
about the simple freedoms that we have every day
and how many freedoms a soldier sacrifices
So you can live this way?

You can refuse to work more hours
overtime you don’t have to do
you can’t be fired or penalized
your rights give that to you.

You get a call at work one day
your baby’s being born
everyone calls out congratulations
as you rush out the door.

And a new mother
has two choices she can make
stay at home with the child
or an outside job to take.

Nothing beats a nice warm bed
so quiet and serene
and any nightmares vanish
when the alarm screams.

Someone you love passes away
you’re told immediately
the law then guarantees
at the graveside you can be.

And what about all the little things
all those choices we can make
a shower or a bath
which one do I take?

I could go on for pages
It would be so easy to do
Now I want to talk of the soldier’s life
And the freedoms they give up for you.

You’ve already put in your 8 hours
but you’re told there’s still work to do
you can’t refuse the overtime
it’s not an option for you.

You’re wife just had your baby
but it will be months before you’re told
possibly years before you see him
and when you do he’s a two years old.

You’re a new my mom
And the doctor says you’re fit
it’s time to leave that little one
a choice you do not get.

A nice warm bed is just a dream
or a distant memory
and the nightmares never go away
in war there’s no quiet or serenity
And when a loved one passes
It can make it hard to grieve
when death is all around you
and you know that you can’t leave.

Even the simple act of cleanliness
Can be a gift of which you dream
To take a simple bath or shower
And luxuriate in the steam.

So next time you go to condemn a soldier
stop and think about what he’s done
all that he chose to sacrifice
so you won’t lose even one.

Thanks for thinking of us. I'll probably never get used to that.

Undisclosed company...now, that's funny! and highly unlikely, as much as I'd like it to be a reality...lol...

Thanks for paging me letting me know that the barbecue was commencing.I must of been in a real deep sleep, thinking of that undisclosed company.

Thank you, John, for stepping up to the plate, as usual, and taking care of us.
