Hmmm 4th time I've had to shovel snow since yesterday. I must have missed the updated report from just 1-2 inches

December 1st scheduled for Espar installation in Grand Rapids :) That's about the only thing concrete right now. Between the weather, thanksgiving, and Espar installation coming up next week. Logistically, it leaves me scratching my head. I may just wait till after the installation to start my run to Christmas. At least I know I will be warm

AND you get a national warranty across the US nearly an outlet in most major cities....

Turns out, instead of vicodin, it's Tramadol. Might be a good painkiller, I dunno. But for me and this pain, it might as well be Tic-Tacs. I'll get something heftier tomorrow. I'm not looking for recreational happy happy, I'm looking for knock-you-on-your-butt, lights-out, down-goes-Frazier.

Tramadol may be alright if you were not used to having vicodin. There has been a lot of pressure on Doc's not to start out with Vicodin. A lot of my former patients were not happy campers when they were switched from Vicodin to tramadol. But it still may do the trick for you.

One of the many side-effects of Vicodin is the same of Viagra. No kidding.

I took 100mg at 2100, then 100mg at 0300, nothing. Nada. No effect. Then drove the rest of the way home this morning. I've never taken vicodin. The last prescription pain medication I took was Lortab, 15 years or so ago, for back spasms or a pulled muscle or something. I suffered for 3 days, took a Lortab and went to bed, and the next day I was fine. So I only ended up taking the one. Before that you have to go back to the mid 70s when I took percocet for an Elliot-esque scratched cornea. And I only took 2 or 3 of those. That's it.

I'll be seeing my doctor in about an hour. Hopefully we can get this figured out. And hopefully, I won't even need anything other than Tylenol after a few days. It can't hurt this bad for very long, can it?

Broken bones?? First week or so is misery, at least mine were. No pain killer other than morphine works on me. Demerol makes it tolerable but morphine is la la land.

My orthopedic surgeon learned that the hard way when I woke up on the table and asked him if he was done yet.

Had a change of installation location on my Espar. Now having it installed at the Detroit Thermo King location instead of Grand Rapids. Shorter trip, that works :)

My regular doc gave me a script for Norco, which is acetaminophen and hydrocodone. A different brand of Lortab. Hopefully that works.

Should get in next week to the ortho doctor for the cast.

They gave me the large dose oxycodone when I had teeth pulled. Warm and fuzzy !!!!
