Got in to toledo at 2 am this morning after leaving the TA on the west side of Dallas at 5 am thurs....took a shower at home, went to bed then took off for my Warren Mich delivery at 7 am...Dropped at 0830 ...3 yrs in the old van and never a issue with fork truck drivers tearin up the floor...not 2 months in the new one and 2 guy have tore it up...the one today did a job, so tomorrow i tear it out and put a 3rd row of e-track down the center of the floor and then put the floorig back down....
over 18,000 miles on it, so I'll change the oil now instead of running it out to the 15,000 like i had planned since its only 2000 short and who knows when i;ll be home to do it again...aso have a chip in the windshield so i am hoping t get that fixed also...
No "Stripe" today..the guy was doin a ST and possibly Xiggi's after 1400 so i'll wait...BUT..they will be on the week before the expo for sure.....

Trying to get unloaded but no hablo espanol. I am laughing at the guy back there unloading speaking spanish to Nick and he tosses in some Romanian to completely confuse the guy.

The QT still has Diesel for $3.85 a gal. But the unleaded went down today from $3.71 to $3.68 a gal. in Oak Grove, MO.
Don't have anything else to do but report the fuel prices.
Trying to do something useful today.
On my way in to relieve the Iron Skillet of some of their food on the buffet.

We know dispatch is doing all they can to get us going and we do appreciate the work they do!
It is the waiting part that is tough, sometimes tougher than other times.

Bumped into Gotta Go at the Cleveland TN Walmart...she drafted me into cooking again at this years Expo...

Made my drop in Hornell NY Thursday morning, two or three hours later dispatch had a load for me from Ithaca NY to Romeo MI. Got there a little past midnight and slept in there parking lot for a few hours. Got up and made the delivery then headed for the yard to try and get decals. Hung around until 3:30 and finally gave up. Now home for the weekend not going back in service until Tuesday am. Nice feeling to be relaxing on my own couch, it's been a while.
I always try and watch over the fleet as best I can. Headed over to Illinois I understand.

Yes, we are on our way to Ilinois right now. Hopefully we will be able to get a good run from there in the morning.

Hey OVM, don't feel bad...Jeanie go me yesterday...but for a toltally different deal...I gave her a gift certificate from one of my other buisnesses for the Cancer Convey she is heading up in Toledo for cancer prevention...I cave her a gift certificate for a Couples Intimate Dinner and Massage to raffle off to make some much needed cash...
The world would be a much mre needy place wthout people like Jeanie....

Joe had us move to Illinois last night to hopefully be in a better location for freight today. We are at the Pilot in Troy, IL.

Whatever you do do not stay at the Super8 there. We did the end of January and there were bed bugs. Never felt do disgusting in my entire life. I would have rather sat in Laredo without a shower for a week.
