now a stroke of bad luck....Dallas sent the wrong caliper...so I get the night off in a nice motel....

the good part, the brakes were on the "to do list" for later in the summer....done now...and the tranny and rear end also done..outside of a set of tires, I am all caught up to my PM..which is a good thing....:D

oh yeah front bearings were also repacked while they were in there...scratch another off the list

157 loaded miles in 4 days...... Finally get a load for a 11 pm(eastern) pickup and get here 1 hour early. Shipper says when we called that load it we said 1 am pick up (central time) so now that puts my pickup at 2am Eastern time 3 hours later than what I was told........ Sometimes it's hard to remain calm I tell ya!

Trust me Ron...the PM list goes on there, Mr Future Sprinter Owner...*LOL*

Yea I'm gonna be gettin the service schedule soon so I can program all the schedules and set up time alarms so I don't miss anything. Less expensive to fix it before it breaks!

Sprinters IF maintained properly are not that expensive...get behind the PM you will pay out the big bucks....

There are some good websites out there for info, so you can stay ahead of the loop and learn when parts are available in the aftermarket...just keep your ears open...

There are some things in the schedule that are a little too much....like fuel filter every 20,000...WE have found that is really unrealistic in the real world....we do about 60-80k.

Heres my PM break down:

Oil & filter- 10k miles
Fuel filter- 30k miles
air filter- 50k miles
cabin air filter- 50k miles (or less during allergy season)
rear end fluid- 100k miles
tranny fluid & filter- 40-50k miles
coolant - 100k miles
brake fluid - 100k miles
power steering fluid - 100k miles

All the work is done by me except the brake & ps fluid flush. I'm sure there are things I'm forgetting, but thats off the top of my head.
