Aaron Rodgers is denying reports that he is gay.

Gee, I wonder who could have started those rumors. :)

O'brien wrapped up. Lovie Smith deal almost done.

What are the Lions doing ?
Waiting on Elmer Fudd, Jr ?

The problem is the owner. It all starts at the top Then there is the constant recycling of the losers that were fired else where.

Jim Caldwell, who took the Colts to the Superbowl, is interviewing with the Skins and the Lions.
Good coach.

Correction Payton took the colts to the super bowl. I wasn't impressed with Caldwell in the least as a head coach.

Great coordinator, average head coach at best.

May have matured in that regard, who knows?

In the end I find it unlikely that ANOTHER coach will make any real difference. Detroit has had the same owner since 1963. They have gone NO WHERE that entire time. When things are that bad for that long, it is systemic. Until WC Ford is gone, OR, the Lions are sold, there it will always be an up hill battle for who ever they bring in as coach.

With the talent they have, I hope someone pulls it together. Well enough to place second in the division.

The Tigers and Wings are soon headed for the same problem. Ilitch is 84 and in poor health. His children show little interest in the teams. Once he is gone things will likely go done hill fast.

Hopefully he sells to someone interested in being competitive.
It's payback to the fan base that made the franchises valuable.

Only time will tell. The Wings and Tigers have very good brand value. A good business person would know how to cash in on that. WC Ford never has.

The Bears wrapped up Cutler for seven years.
Not the biggest Cutler fan, bur it'll be fairly easy as our receivers mature. And the running game is improving.
All in all, I'm happy with the consistency.

Zorry, I totally agree. Now they need to overhaul the defense! Like get rid of Mel Tucker and lure back Rod Marinelli.

Ahh Rod, such good memories we had... "He was fired from his position as head coach one day after coaching the Lions to the worst single-season record in NFL history, 0–16 in 2008"
