I'll take a stab at this. I guess as long as the freight is secured...and the kennel is "out of the line of fire" if the freight shifts - I would thinking bolting it down would be wise.

IMHO.

For safety reasons has anyone else tried this method?

There are two possibilities as to the identity of JB: One is Dougie and the other is domiciled in Ohio. Is there no vetting process whatsoever for new registrants?

I will make sure that the freight cannot shift and crush the carrier. Does anybody else have a carrier that is bolted down. Aristotle I sent you a private message.

When drilling any hole in the floor of a van [for any reason] be very careful not to hit the fuel tank and cause a leak. I did that once and it was very embarrising when I sent a new van back to the dealer to get the fuel leak fixed.
It is always a shock to me when I find out that I aint perfect.

I really didn't want to say anything because I don't want to stir the pot, but I think that post about disability and also the one about screwing in a dog carrier might be doug. That is just my opinion.

(i'm thinking about screwing my dog carrier in to the floor of my van)

(is there any disability people who do this job)

These are very strange post titles. They are also deceptively written to hide the writers true intent. Remove the "carrier" in the dog post and you have something really nasty going on. I hope these were posted by real people.

Why does every new person that joins this site have to be Dougie?

Because a few have an obsession with the subject?
Really - I'd rather see Dougie 'put one over' than alienate new folks who haven't got a clue as to what they've been accused of.
Get a life, people! :(

Most of the lines are attached to the frame, not the body.

The fuel tank is the worry, using a long drill bit (more than 3/4" long) may be a problem.

Most people don't realize that large pieces of coral, which have been painted brown and attached to the skull by common wood screws, can make a child look like a deer.
