Quoting from Joe Biden speaking Sunday to a group of Seattle fundraisers:
"Mark my words, it will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking. We're about to elect a brilliant 47-year-old senator president of the United States of America. Remember I said it standing here if you don't remember anything else I said. Watch, we're gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy."
One can just imagine the reaction of the mainstream media if Sarah Palin had said something like this. Biden is practially guaranteeing that Iran, Russia, North Korea, Al-Quaeda, etc. - take your pick - will make a provacative move because of the inexperience and perceived weakness of the most liberal member of the US Senate who is the Democrat nominee for President. Given his publicly stated intention of giving up on Iraq and drastically reducing our military strength if elected, it's fair to say Biden's prediction is right on the money - especially if the aforementioned crisis is perpetrated by the Iranians to accelerate the withdrawal of US troops from their next-door neighbor.
Of course the Democrat retort might be to say "look how well JFK handled the Cuban missle situation." Fine - but like Dan Quayle, BHO is no JFK by any stretch of the imagination and our military situation is different now. We will have two active conflicts going on, and a third situation that would require troops and/or military assets would be an enormous strain. You can bet our enemies are acutely aware of this possibility and are anxiously awaiting the election results from the US on Nov. 4th. It's also not hard to imagine which campaign bumper stickers they have on their cars - or camels, as the case may be.
