Has anyone heard anything about Active Aero Motor Carrier?

spoke to an o/o that runs over there not long ago. he said they have to bid on the loads along with all the other carriers that are on the board. seems kinda weird. aa has quite a bit of freight, but you have a lot of competition to deal with.

    Zipp Express - tenn.

it's obvious I don't break my #'s down as elaborate you guys do. but, as far as d/h, we have gotten at least $.50/mile for d/h miles on every load so far. it has ranged from getting $.50/mile to getting all the d/h miles paid at regular rate. their are some companies that don't pay any money...

    Zipp Express - tenn.

i see what your saying and of course we crunched #'s and we are doing the $1.50/mile for our solo's. the one good thing about taking the rate reduction and letting them pay the insurance is that if you are at home for a week or so here and their, zipp pays the insurance and you wouldn't have to...

Anyone driving for farm 2 fleet?

not sure what the true relationship is, but we did a load for them not too long ago, and on the rate sheet, the "bill to" company was "farm2fleet trucking/covenant solutions expedite", so was under the impression that covenant had some kind of ownership?????????????? but they were fine to work...

O/O running for more then one carrier revisited

i think eventually they will regulate vehicles under 10k gvw a little more closely. all i can tell you is, that if you are leasing your commercial vehicle on to a carrier to haul freight intra or inter state, it would be in both parties best interest to run under that carriers ins. policy...
