It is called sci delivery services.They do local in town and some out of town deliverys.They have opened an office in madison Al.They only hire cargo vans i think,and are based out of NY.The way they operate is you tell them what you will run for at what rate.And then they contract you out to different businesses.So they say the more companies you work for the more you get.IT makes sence but i have never tried anything like this.But to be home most nights it might be worth it the gas is so high.

Is this who you are talking about? SCI is based out of Long Island in NY. If so I AM contracted though a messenger/courier company that uses them for pay roll service. They have GREAT IC benifits. I have my Health insurance though one of there partner programs.

I have filled out several driver availablity sheets for them, but they have never found me any extra work.

never heard of them. madison is near huntsville, al. wouldn't think they would have a lot freight out of that area anyway.

I am familiar with this company. They are not a carrier but rather an organization that handles administration duties such as accounting and payroll for couriers and small trucking companies. They sometimes handle recruiting and background checks. I got paid through them for awhile. No problems. One of the largest courier companies in the U.S., Corporate Transit, uses them.
