    I'm going crazy

Hey Broker- What Linda has to say and more. Hubby and I jumped into this with little or no experience. He had some w/ T/T in ‘93. But our boys were young and being away from home proved to be the wrong choice at that time. Twelve years later the family is raised and I’m going with, (the...

    My Wife

Ok, I'll try to keep this short. I know just how your wife feels, you know-been there, done that. Follow the doctor’s advice and if she's not happy with her Ob-Gyn find another. Your love and friendship will mean the world. Don't be upset if she needs space, giving her that can mean a lot...

    Rolling Hills and Passing

No apologies necessary. I really don’t think any of you are jerks. I do understand why the big T/T are running that way. I just was wondering if there was someâ€road edict†I didn’t know about. It doesn’t disturb me really, I do understand and of course I would always yield if the...

    Rolling Hills and Passing

OK the thread about the highway entrance scenario got me thinking. Here’s the situation: I’m a 6 wheeler, got pretty good power with cruse control. I get on some of the roads that go on forever just rolling up and down. I set my cruse to limit or just below depending on the road...

    hi

If ya fuel at the TA you get points. They add up pretty quick and you can use them for wifi. If you have a wifi card in your lap top it’s a good way to go. Sometimes the signal is weak but it usually works for us. Some of the other truck stops have availability but you have to pay cash as...

Yes the shipper accepted responsibility. It happened 11:30 pm on Friday. Will talk to "their people" Monday. We are still gona have to get it fixed, even with them paying. Just feel like Alumi**** is a real gouger and charge excessive labor fees. Would rather pay anyone but them.

    Trucks passing in the night

When first starting (18 mo. ago) I flashed high beam briefly since our 2005 truck has daytime running lights. It was a nice feeling to get a response as the truck returned to the lane and gave me a sense of being "in touch" with another human being during a long night on a lonely road. Since...

D Unit Box Damaged by Forklift

Our box was damaged by a careless forklift driver, I'll spare you all the painfull details of the incident. The top bar has been smashed in about 3-6 inches and the top latches will not close. My question is: Where and how is the best way to repair this? I'm sure someone with a lot more...

    Rest period for Pilots/Lexington Crash

I've ask myself since getting into this business, "What if Drs. had to 'log' their HOS like Professional Drivers do" or better yet "are Drs. subjected to random drug testing"? Wouldn't it be nice to see your Dr.'s and nurse's 'log' or last random drug test before you went to surgery or saw them...
