Just an observation. If you have been checked that many times in a 10 day period, you may want to evaluate your trucks appearance. Maybe your own appearance? Seems very excessive. We hadn't had a truck stopped in the last four months.

You hit on something that I believe this person failed to do. He never talked to current and previous drivers. I do advocate the use of a contract to make sure there are no misunderstandings, but certainly a major part of research was skipped in this case.

I think it would be easier to just ban Canadian trucks in the US, and let them have all of the Canadian freight. Good for the economy as Detroit would turn into another Laredo.

Mind as well keep it simple. If you have the ability and know for certain you can obtain your own freight, you might stand a chance. White glove, green glove or whatever, they are struggling. Odds would be better in Vegas. Save your money and stay home.

In theory that might work. But a lot of these budget companies just replace the fallen with fresh ones that don't know any better than the ones they are replacing. It just amazes me how cheap some are operating at.
