    Expediter Services

You may want to describe this program. Specifically....what is the 80 percent for if you are collecting a 40 some dollar weekly fee? A contractor already recieves the carrier discount using their fuel card. If it is paying a weekly fee plus 20 percent of something, whats the point to the...

    Mexican trucks........again

The more trucks you add to the system regardless of the size or origin will certainly be a drag on rates. As mentioned, it is supply and demand.

Hey, look at the bright side. He composed that personal laundry list of self improvement challenges with only 3 to 4 hours sleep and on a Monday no less. He should be commended.

    where are the loads

Maybe it is the sleep deprivation or the yellow puddle you may be standing in? You are not consistent with what you are posting. You now state that your trucks get 1.30 to 1.35 plus fuel Yet, if you read back over the last two days you went from "we bid loads at 1.64" which means you...

    Hello, new to expeditors.

Several different reasons depending on what carrier you are talking about. Sometimes it is a relationship thing with a partner carrier. They may have a garbage load that they accepted in order to get a better load. Sometimes a package of loads both good and bad. To cover the junk load, they will...

    Hello, new to expeditors.

I would say Turtle gave you the best advice with regards to EO. Folks love to hear your experiences and or share what knowledge you may or may not have. But as mentioned, I would be careful trying to "pee on the folks legs and tell them it is raining". Way too many in here that have been in...

    where are the loads

Looks like it is time for another reality session. Seems like your mad because the larger carriers (Panther being one of them) obtain freight at a much higher rate than your carrier. Thats a shame. Seems like it would be more of a incentive to locate the higher paying loads. Without pulling...

    Mexican trucks........again

Even if they pay the same road tax, the cost basis of fuel is still much cheaper. But I do agree, it will be full truck load or companies operating down at the border that would notice the greatest effects.

    Mexican trucks........again

The biggest advantage the Mexican trucks will have will be cheaper labor and certainly cheaper fuel. They add extra tanks on the trucks and purchase in Mexico. How much that advantage has is hard to say.

US 'wants Twitter details of Wikileaks activist'

Ms Jonsdottir reportedly left Wikileaks late last year after she argued unsuccessfully that Mr Assange should take a low-profile role until his legal troubles were resolved ================================= She appears to have more sense than Assange does.

    surgharge again

The biggest concern would be the incoming trucks running at a lower rate. I could see very easily on standard loads bypassing high rate trucks in order to maximize Panthers bottom line. We have noticed a good bump with just elite loads so in the end, it may be a good thing.

    where are the loads

I wouldn't read too much into it. That is coming from a a guy that claims there is only a handful of teir 1 companies at nlm. There are quite a few but probably less than last year because they have turned into pretty cheap freight. In fact, I can't remember the last time we ran one. Got offered...

You would be surprised how many think that way. Didn't know the flat rate FSC was a thing on the new folks. Can't say I really follow it either. Different contracts for different times. As for a profit center, that would be the primary reason for even doing it. There are a few exceptions where...

    where are the loads

That would be my take or there is a phantom carrier holding all the loads.

I believe the flat rate FSC is an elective. Or it use to be? Same with the flat rate all miles program.
