Learning to love life on the road!!

We have found life on the road suits us to a T. We are still learning but really enjoy the life of a gypsy. We enjoy waking up in a different place every morning. Meeting people on the east coast and then running into them on the west coast. Sometimes having to think for a little bit of...

Have you ever wondered how they make that?

Don't you find it amazing all of the really great businesses we get to see in this job? We just picked up at a place that makes sound equipment and rents it to stage productions. What a warehouse then we got to take that to the Indianapolis State Fair grounds. That is a great fair grounds...

    Getting Fuel

I know I am very spoiled but I do not fuel. Bob talked me into trying that process once and it was a dismal failure. I swiped the card, put in all them numbers, put on the gloves, put the nozzle in the drivers side tank, turned and promptly ran into the mirrors and almost knocked my head...

    Night Driving

How does everyone handle finding a place to use the restroom at night? We split our driving shifts in the middle of the night and I sure try to wait as long as possible for daylight. Sometimes I stop at rest areas and I usually pull into the car side and try to get close to the rest rooms and...

    Backing into Docks

Does anybody have a good idea about backing into docks? I always want to back crooked. Everything looks great in the mirrors, get out and look at I am crooked every time. Not sure what I am doing wrong. The air tabs seem to help when backing into a space at the truck stop but once the doors...

    Rice Cooker

We have a electric rice cooker in our truck and have found that it is also great as a spaghetti cooker. The eclectic rice cooker heats the water a lot faster then a microwave does. We have found our rice cooker will have just as many uses as the crock pot. Now we need something for our garlic...
