    hitch receiver bumper

The boat bumpers are a great idea! Heck, I may even start wearing those around my neck when I go out drinking! Safety first!

    Bolt

I've been "stalking" these board for well over a year, reading and asking a question here and there. I've compiled a big list of questions over that time and while most have been answered directly you will find that there really aren't direct answers to some. There are so many variables. I've...

    Small-town Parking Options?

The last time I parked in a casino parking lot they charged me 200 bucks. I had to go inside and keep cramming $20 bills into a machine till I was sick and tired, then went back to the van and slept, sure that it was all just a bad dream and when I woke up I would have all those 20s in my...

    B CDL training in kentucky?

If you are currently laid off the govt. will pay for you to get a cdl at an approved school. I'm in Louisville, KY and these guys are as well. I've heard pretty good things about them. They rush you through the class but you would be hard pressed to find one that doesn't. Truck Driving...

    Follow Me....;) @ TJPOHIO44's World

If you get tired of loosing or winning money on the strip you can take a day trip up to Reno. There's also one that takes you around Lake Tahoe and to an old silver mine town. Go up in the Stratosphere at night to the observation deck. The lights are amazing. Day trip to Hoover Dam and Grand...

Ford E250 Super Duty enough truck for the job?

Thanks for all the input guys! I came across a deal today that I couldn't pass up. It's virtually the same van as I mentioned earlier but it's a 2005. I got it at a steal, over 4k less than the 2007 and 109k miles so I'll run it for awhile till I can save up for an extended or one of the...

Amount of hours aloud to run in a CV?

I've noticed a few posts regarding cargo van drivers being forced by the carrier to shut down after so many hours. Is this just if they have a cdl? If I'm running for a carrier that doesn't require me to have a cdl do they ever force you to "break" while on the road?

Ford E250 Super Duty enough truck for the job?

I was wondering what your all's recommendations are for cargo vans. I'm looking at a 2007 E250 Super Duty right now. Being the Super Duty model it's rated to haul just under 2 tons. I would like to find an extended van but I'm just not having any luck finding one in good shape. Anyone else...

carriers without a 5 year or less requirement

Even being a Super Duty? It's rated to haul nearly 2 ton. I can understand not going with the normal 250 as it's only rated for around 1 ton. I agree, I would like to find an extended but just haven't had any luck finding one in good shape yet.

carriers without a 5 year or less requirement

Thanks everyone, I looked at a van today that may make this a moot point. It's a 2007 E-250 Super Duty with 90k on it. Very well maintained and new tires. I think I'm in love, lol! It's around $10k and that seems pretty well below the prices I'm seeing on the net.

carriers without a 5 year or less requirement

I understand the reasoning, but as I stated I have found some older vans with very low miles. For example, it would seem to me that a 2003 E350 with 40,000 miles would be in better shape than a 2007 E250 with 140,000 miles.

carriers without a 5 year or less requirement

I was wondering if anyone knows of any decent carriers that will take on a cargo van that is more than 5 years old. I've been finding some great deals on older cargo vans with really low miles. It would seem to me that they would be more concerned about miles and condition of the van. For...
