Well, our location is set to change in a month or so. I've been looking at offices and I think I've settled on one in West Chester, OH, right off exit 19. If everything goes well we'll be in there around the first of July.

I had someone call and offer us a straight truck load for $1.50 a mile. I thought that was pretty funny.

Last year we had one truck get pulled for two level 1 inspections within a span of about four hours. Both were passed, but the load was late.

That could be the rub. The insurance is the issue. Our insurance carrier won't let us sign on people who just got a CDL, but occasionally they'll make an exception if the person has been driving straight trucks for over two years.

You want to stay busy in this business? Stretch a tractor, put about a 22' box on it with a liftgate and an ICC bar, and get your CDL with all the extras you can get like TSA, TWIC, etc. you could carry 20k in that truck and you probably wouldn't sit too much.

Sprinter freight was great when I bought mine in 2007, and went downhill not long after. There's a reason the Sprinter has since been sold and I'm now driving a desk.

I didn't really know him personally either. I just met him at the Expo a couple times. He sure could recruit the cargo vans though. Of course few of them were exclusive leases.

If there was anything he was good at it was recruiting.
