    I was told you could park a straight truck in the auto part of a rest area if the truck lot was full. Anyone know if this is true or BS?

    Ive got to agree with you ./no freight is worth killing myself or someone else. I think most of us have a sense of when we are "over driving" ourselves.. When that hits.. I pull over whether its due to tirednes,weather or whatever.

    Im new to AB and Ive gotten two very different lessons on using brakes on a long downgrade. The DOT exam study guide says to apply the brakes until your speed drops to 5 mph below what you consider(or what is posted as) safe speed. Then ease off until you are again just easing over "safe" speed...

    try IODAC.COM they have a forum with report cards on different companies. You can also find some info on truck.net ..just run a search there on the company. driversandexpediters.com has a list of companies but very few have actually had posts made saying anything good OR bad about the companies
