Ok I have to admit that when Im 4 wheeling I do sometimes "hitch" a ride and draft a truck...But good golly I get a decent draft at 10-15 car lengths back at highway speeds. My wife calls the brake tap for tailgaters the "National Rolling Reaction Test" We just had another fatal accident...

    CDL

Right..The CDL A is for "combination vehicles" i.e tractor trailers or ( I think) vehicles pulling trailers in excess of 10,000 pounds

    CDL

It depends on the weight rating and some states may have different rules. In GA if the truck is rated under 26,000 pounds(and a 14 ft would likely be) you would only need a CDL to carry hazmat. Over 26 K you need a Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement

    Fed Ex Custom Critical

Those times when you had to spend a lot of time on padding and securing, unloading etc. are you paid any additional for that ? Or is that simply why the WG rates and payment are higher?

    Fed Ex Custom Critical

I knew White Glove paid more per load but I was also told that WG generally got fewer loads. Are the White Glove units strictly White Glove freight or do they run general too?
