The new Ron Paul game

Coming soon: a game for Romney supporters with which to distract themselves when they economy crashes and we're all cold and hungry. Knowing that there was at least a chance it could have been averted will be a bitter pill and they'll need something to cope.

At least it will hopefully be delayed. As far as another option or chance, never was even on the table.

Dead and glowing from whom?

We must be vigilant at all times. What if the 19 hijackers of Sept 11th had been packing a briefcase nuke?

Muslim extremists mean to destroy our nation. They have said as much and most Americans understand this threat. A passive approach toward our national security is dangerous. The United States and our allies must vigorously apply pressure against these extremists wherever they are found.

I would say that American extremists in power mean to destroy our nation; and are more capable of doing so than some wimpy little Arabs. And, they are already on their way to doing so. Powers in our country have their minds made up that there WILL BE a war with Iran, REGARDLESS if Russia and/or China decide to defend their ally. This is a common scenario for those who believe in the one-world-order mantra.

T-Hawk... do I understand you to be saying the United States government is extremist? I will credit every US President with doing his best to keep America safe. Even Obama has done an effective job in this regard, so far.

Fascism is a political/social ideology of extreme patriotism, such that nothing the nation does can be wrong. Something we should keep in mind.

Well, we all know which state actually has nukes in the Middle East .... and has refused to sign on to the Nuclear Non-proliferation Treaty, which nuclear-armed Middle East state has repeatedly refused inspections (it ain't Iran) of it's nuclear program, which Middle East state been repeatedly involved in espionage against the United States, which Middle East state inspired an American (dual citizen ?) newspaper editor to call on it's intelligence services to assassinate a sitting President of the United States, and which Middle East state attacked a US Navy vessel - with no provocation whatsoever - and slaughtered 34 US seamen, while wounding 171 out of a crew of 297:

Yeah - based on actual actions and conduct, who is the real threat ?

However, Iran did sign that treaty and therefor should be held accountable to adhere to it. As to that 'other' government. they are just that, a government and therefor cannot be trusted.

Not to worry, I know of NO government that does NOT spy on the U.S. It's all part of the game.

Presidents are only pawns. The extremists are much more powerful.

True, but a lot of why they hate us is our own fault for intervening and giving away land that they owned for 1000's of years.

I don't know about you, but I'd be pretty ****ed if the local sheriff came over and said "move out we're letting your neighbors have your land just because".

It's more complicated than that, but that's basically it.

The term "we" may refer to the US as a part of the United Nations collectively, and our actions in terms of supporting Israel .... while they continued to get away with this de facto theft ....

Look up and read about "Nakba_Day" .... and the 1948_Palestinian_exodus ....

The issue may go back even further than that .... back to the 1920's ....

Count Folke Bernadotte said on 16 September 1948:

"No settlement can be just and complete if recognition is not accorded to the right of the Arab refugee to return to the home from which he has been dislodged. It would be an offence against the principles of elemental justice if these innocent victims of the conflict were denied the right to return to their homes while Jewish immigrants flow into Palestine, and indeed, offer the threat of permanent replacement of the Arab refugees who have been rooted in the land for centuries ..."

It should be noted that in 1948 at the Lausanne Conference, Israel originally agreed to allow a right of return .... and has since repeatedly reneged on that promise ....

While 'we' have been involved 'we' hardly were the main cause. Look to England for that. 'We' should have minded our own business. So should have England. Maybe it would have been a VERY good idea if so many European nations did not persecute the Jewish people as they did and MAYBE there would not have been what was seen as a need to solve THAT problem.

It is not nearly as simple as 'we are bad, everyone else is good'.

It is also true that the land in question and been in 'dispute' for much longer than a couple of centuries and has changed hands on multiple occasions. Nobody in that part of the world has ever gotten along with each other for more than a week or two for it's entire history.
