So after a solid week of hauling tail I am heading to Battleboro, NC for a early Monday morning drop.

Where and what are you doing this weekend?

Was your week good, ok, slow or really bad?

I'm still sitting at the J in wonderful Deepwater, NJ. I have a load booked Monday morning going up to New Hampshire, actually a couple LTL that are making for a decent rate combined since the expedite was rather slow this week. I've booked quite a few loads, but most of them for other drivers. I haven't done much driving myself. I'm keeping busy enough doing paperwork and playing dispatcher though, but I hope to do a bit more driving this coming week.

We did 4 loads this week from Monday to Thursday for a total of 3050 miles....unloaded in Cinci Friday morning at Walton now....

Wow! After a decent week last week, I sat 2 days waiting in Indianapolis. Nothing there for me, so I just came home and will try again next week. I thought things might be picking up last week, but, this week was terrible.

Horrifyingly slow,as usual. Been that way for 6 weeks. Average about 1600 loaded miles and 6oo empty miles per week.

In Carlisle PA, at the "J". Had a good week and are pre-dispatched for Monday. Will head up tomorrow to get closer to our pick-up. Booked a motel there, no place else to stay, it is out in the boonies. Chores and a re-stock of supplies lined up for today. Layoutshooter

Still in Carlisle but moved to the Petro, we want to use the Idle-Aire today. Got tired of listening to that noise from the APU. We are parked next to another FDCC truck. I will drop in and say howdy after lunch. Layoutshooter

*sigh* We did a 697 mile run last night and we are STILL in Texas! We went from El Paso to Laredo. 3rd out so we will be here the rest of the weekend I'm sure.

This past week wasn't too bad, and the week before that was pretty good. I hope the trend continues, but I REALLY want to get out of Texas!
