Instead of nitpicking the details of one incident, it makes more sense to recognize the bigger problem. Fentanyl ODs from incidental contact by LEOs and first responders are being reported all over the country. It's pouring across the open border from Mexico and the Biden Administration doesn't seem to care. Fentanyl deaths have increased exponentially since he took office; fentanyl confiscations up 800% in the 1st four months of 2021 alone.

The problem is the increased in fentanyl crossing into the usa.....you know enough to kill whole citys because we have great big wholes in the wall that trump tried to build but Democrats said was to expensive to build....but oh they have this build back better plan in the trillions.

Is that why Abbott initiated the truck inspections at the border? That is the only thing that is going to stop the drugs that are being smuggled into this country, The down side to that is there isnt enough inspectors and we all seen what happened, lots of spoiled produce, that cant be held up and the smugglers know this which gives them a perfect way into the country.

There are multiple ways to smuggle drugs across the border, especially fentanyl since it can be moved in such small packages. Vehicles likely carry only a small fraction of the total amount.
