Scattered amid the refuge left along the trail, you will find empty water bottles, used toilet paper, soiled clothing and paper bags that once held bits of food. You will also find Islamic prayer rugs, Arabic language newspapers, and other personal items that would identify the former owners as Muslim.
This is the trail that leads from Mexico into the Arizona desert near the town of Douglas known to the Border Patrol as "Terrorist Alley." Along this trail, every night, hundreds of illegal aliens enter the United States across the border with Mexico -- many seeking a better life for themselves and their families -- but some seeking death and destruction to our way of life.
"This is the main alley. It's called "Cocaine Alley" or "Terrorist Alley." Whatever you want to call it, Arizona is the prime place," retired US Army Colonel Ben Anderson told investigators from KVOA television in 2004.
To make matters worse, a report issued earlier this month by Dr Paul Williams, a former FBI consultant on organized crime and terrorism, Islamists have now made an unholy alliance with the infamous Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13), Salvadoran street gang, to pay MS-13 coyotes to lead them across the US/Mexican border.

For all of the heralded advances in combating terrorism that we have seen since the attacks of 9-11 -- No-Fly Lists -- TSA screenings at airports -- crackdowns on student VISA violations -- nearly eight years after the worst terrorist attack in our nation's history, the Southern border with Mexico remains a sieve.
We can only guess how many of those entering this country illegally every day mean to do us harm. What intel we do have, comes from those who are caught. Known as OTM's (other than Mexicans), most illegals caught crossing into the United States are eventually deported back to their country of origin.
But many of these detainees whose faces or fingerprints come up on government computers, become Special Interest Aliens, or SIA. Most of these SIA originate from countries in the Middle East, or Muslim Asian nations.

A Border Patrol Agent told the KVOA reporter about one detainee that he remembered.
"So they took him back to the Naco station for further investigating there, and when they entered his fingerprints into the AFIS database, which is maintained by the FBI, several minutes later they received a phone call from someone on the other end -- I'm not sure who it was."
"And they stated, whoever is working on this particular terminal, they need to separate that gentleman right away. He was later determined to be from Pakistan. And he had affiliations with a terrorist group. It wasn't al-Qaida, but it was another terrorist group and this gentleman was wanted out of France for trafficking in heroin."
"There are Middle Easterners coming across the border as we speak," said retired Border Patrol Agent David Stoddard. "What's scary is that I can show you places out here on the line right now where 18-wheelers can be driven across. These 18-wheelers can be loaded with anything -- illegal aliens, atomic weapons, whatever."
The Border Patrol has received tips about terrorists across the border in Mexico -- waiting for their opportunity to cross. "We know it's happening. We've seen it. We've actually received hard intelligence that they're there in Mexico. It's just a matter of trying to keep them from coming north," said one border agent.
"And there's just complete areas of fence that are missing, roads that lead north, well-traveled. I mean, you can tell the tire sign. A vehicle was there within the last day or two. Where they're going, who knows. And the worst part is what are they carrying. I would like to think it's just marijuana, because we can deal with that, but what if it's not?"
So many illegal Arabs are now using this route that the US Contractor for the “Office of Refugee Resettlement," a division of the Department of Health and Human Services, has been forced to import Spanish/Arabic speaking translators from Southern Mexico.
Little has changed since that KVOA report from 2004, except that the focus of our leaders in Washington, DC has turned even further from the Southern border.
"You don't know what is getting by you unless you come across, as you said, small pieces of evidence, remnants of things that give you clues, that not everybody is coming across from Mexico looking for a job," said T J Bonner, Border Patrol Council President.
