Ron Paul revolution dead

Quite the opposite. Ron Paul is the beginning of the movement. Like Obi Wan Kenobi, you can strike him down and he only gets stronger. And like Obi Wan, he was our only hope.

And here's another parallel:
"So this is how liberty dies: to thunderous applause."

IT is LONG past hope. It is also naive to place one's fortunes in the hands of single person. NO one man is able to fix it all. History is marching on. The next phase will be ugly.

Not exactly. Ron Paul is retiring and going into the sunset. There is Rand for that new movement who just recently endorsed Romney. He as well will be doing those money bombs right before he retires.

Now for a more serious moment: Friedrich Gustav Emil Martin Niemöller (14 January 1892 – 6 March 1984) was a Protestant pastor and social activist. Germany 1937
[edit]Quotes
Niemoller said a lot more then what follows, but I only posted what I think is important at this time. If you want , you can read about Niemoller and all that he said.

So here we go. you can put the word President where he says Fuhrer.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
For politicians truth and falsehood are unimportant. So I never could become a politician — not even a church politician.
Our people are trying to break the bond set by God. That is human conceit rising against God. In this connection we must warn the Führer, that the adoration frequently bestowed on him is only due to God. Some years ago the Führer objected to having his picture placed on Protestant altars. Today his thoughts are used as a basis not only for political decisions but also for morality and law. He himself is surrounded with the dignity of a priest and even of an intermediary between God and man... We ask that liberty be given to our people to go their way in the future under the sign of the Cross of Christ, in order that our grandsons may not curse their elders on the ground that their elders left them a state on earth that closed to them the Kingdom of God.

Statement on behalf of the Confessional Church, signed by nine other pastors, as quoted in TIME magazine (27 July 1936)
The oppression is growing, and anyone who has had to submit to the Tempter's machine-gun fire during this last week thinks differently from what he did even three weeks ago.
Last sermon before being imprisoned by the Nazi regime of Germany (27 June 1937), as quoted in Religion in the Reich (1939) by Michael Power, p. 142
We have no more thought of using our own powers to escape the arm of authorities than had the Apostles of old. No more are we ready to keep silent at man's behest when God commands us to speak. For it is, and must remain, the case that we must obey God rather than man.

Really powerful stuff and that my friends was 1937. Is it 1937 again?

But he was the only one who would take us in the other direction. In that regard, he was our only hope. Whether or not it would have been enough, or too-little-too-late, no one knows.

No, he could not. One man cannot do that.

Ron paul had some good points, those of us who live with our eyes wide open politicaly, and dont drink the electric Koolaide understood what he was driving at. However he allowed himself to be portrayed as the crazy tin foil hat wearing uncle living in the basement. Add the fact our propaganda machine that will pick and chose what sound bites, video clips, and what to print to foward thier favorite politicians agenda. Ive said it before the only person who stood any chance to win against the fuher was Herman Kane. I ll vote foe Romney hoping he is in fact the lesser of the two evils.

He did have some good ideas, just the wrong person to carry the torch for them.
There was something funny about that koolaide he was selling.

He had some great ideas but without a congress to back up those ideas they would not go far. That is what I don't understand about the whole he is the only guy thing.

NAW, the Founding Fathers had FIRE in their guts! They were likely drinking double rectified hillbilly butt kick! Ron Paul was warm milk and dry toast. If he ever had any fire in his gut it went out decades ago.
