Please Help me get rid of Panther Ad

When I came on to this site this Panter ad starts blaring out at me. Now the thing is verbal. How do I change my settings so I don't get this when I sign on all the time? Yeesh, it's bad enough Panther has to aggravate it's own drivers. Does it have to aggravate drivers for other companies too? }>

If you don't move your mouse pointer over the ad it won't activate the larger window and sound I don't think. There's also a tiny control panel in it where you can click a stop button to get rid of it immediately.

ok & thanx. Though the ad has come up b4 a fair amount of times. So it's kinda set up in a way that's going to lend to me passing the mouse over I imagine. This time I was listening to music b4 coming on here & the speakers blared out their ad. I'll obviously be turning down the volume b4 I come to this site. =) At least I know how to get rid of it if it comes up.

Well I can't read the new article with the ad I have to source the page and pick it out of the code.

You know as a suggestion not to use flash ads would help us on the road.

OR

If flash ad has to be used, put a cookie on the my machine to say I already looked at the ad and change it to a static ad so I can read the article.

I have a great connection to Pilot 11Mbs and the signal is the highest I have ever gotten (has to do with sitting at the antenna) even with all the aluminum foiled products sealing the cab but I have such bad continuity from Pilot to the internet. It takes up to 45 seconds to load the home page.

Very annoying!

It would seem better to activate it on the list of expediter logos on the side where someone might actually be interested in Panther.

I'd also think it would be better if Panther spent some money doing whatever is needed to reduce the excessive hold times on the phones - like, for starters, being able to direct dial a dept, instead of asking whomever answers the phone to transfer the call, because switchboard operators they're not - I've been "transferred" to the same wrong person 3 times in one call. I just hope I never need to speak with someone at Panther in an emergency situation...

Every department has a direct extension. When you call, hit #3 for more options. Within that menu, you can dial direct to a individuals number, thus eliminating getting transferred.

Additionally, if you have an emergency (accident, spill or injury) that is the first prompt on every menu.

I'm not sure if that ad is for an expedite company or a monster truck show.
