I dont get it.I come home from the Texas heat, and what happens? abouve 90 in the northeast !!! Had an awesome time doing the fireworks last night, what a mess in the morning, though.Waxed the van today, and went shopping the rest of the day.Too hot for even that !! I hope these next 2 weeks are better than the last, or I'm going to get a divorce from someone real fast..lol.

We are now at the TA in Las Vegas. It is HOT, miserable and the APU cannot keep up with it and I have it running on AC high. :(
We went over to the Bass Pro Shop, had lunch at the casino buffet (no place to eat at BPS) came out to find a note on my truck from the casino, not allowed to park there. Last time we go over there. Must not need our money. I sure don't need their crummy food. No different than a TA or "J" buffet, just cheaper. YUCK, won't do that again. :mad:

It's Vegas for crying out loud ,
how can you not Enjoy Vegas ?

go to the wild wild west truck stop ,and walk over to the New york new york ,
(or you can go to the Dannye's ,last time i was there ,there was some friendly Expediters seating by ...)

It's Vegas ,why stay in the truck ?

Because I have no use for Vegas!! I don't gamble, the shows cost too much and there is no one that I would want to see here right now at ANY price!! :p

The rest of this past weekend was GREAT!! Mrs. Layoutshooter and went hiking on Sat and Sun. Sat we climbed an extinct volcano. It was a hard, hot, dusty climb but seeing the geology made it worth it. On Sun we did two hikes in Zion National Park, that was just unreal. On Sat evening we ate a The Gun Barrel in St. George, UT. I had a perfectly done buffalo sirloin and Mrs. Layoutshooter had the buffalo BBQ ribs. A FINE night out? Vegas? I would rather sleep!!! :D (I would be now if it were not so dang gum hot):eek:

i mean , one truck ,3 engines ,freezer ,3 A/C compressors ...
& you sweating ?

New York, New York is fun stopped there to eat on the way through Vegas, I did put about a dollars worth of quarters in a slot and actually left vegas with 3 bucks!!!:D

I wish I could find a way to pipe A/C in from the reefer!! THAT would do the trick out here!! I am TRYING not to run the main engine to cut down on the fuel costs but it may be a losing battle. It is FAR easier to heat this sleeper than cool it. I burn far less fuel in fall and winter than I do in summer. :eek:

i dont know if i can go to ex-1 ovm sayes id have to be willing to deadhead home 1000 miles once a month and i would have to meet his strict uniform code.
