Iran has a problem, their people. You got to get a grip on things and one of those things is that there is a building of internal problems with Iranians who are getting fed up with their government. These guys won't go to war with Israel if the population will not support them. The Iranians see the progress in Iraq and want that. They are not stupid, but they can't move to change anything unless they are sure that the world will help when it is time. There are a number of groups working on the border of Iran and Iraq to bring more to Iran - maybe the reason for traffic through that border?

After reading a bunch of stuff on Iran and talking to a few, they look at us, the US as the model for their country. But we forget they are not like us, they are patient, they have changed governments several times and they feel the country is not the government. We are very impatient, we view the US government as the US, and we don't think about how others view their country. Israel and several other countries recognized that if they go to war with Iran, they will not face an Iraq situation but an angry population who will fight like the Japanese in WW2. Iraq was a cake walk for all of us, we don't think about this but the average Iranian will defend their country first, government second.

As for Israel, as for the Zionist movement and all that cr*p, ok can we move onto something else?

Well you don’t have to go too far, I just finished reading another blog where the author, famous Hollywood type, said we are all racist not even to vote for obama. I am not trying to belittle you but that was a dumb statement. Learn what the religion is all about first before trying to tag things as part of a Kosher Tax. See Beemer, some Jews take their religion seriously enough have to conform to their traditions, a lot like the Muslims do within theirs. In the Jewish religion some practice it by the letter, which means that anything touches food has to conform to a certain standard.

So to put another way, Halal food (opps I been misspelling it, **** dyslexic I am) is taken seriously enough that Muslims demand that their food is grown and processed according to Islamic laws. For example, animals can’t be fed other animals, the animal has to be slaughter a specific way and the food has to be handled as prescribed under Islamic law. There are Halal groups that over see the certification of all kinds of products and I know that for each item sold, I have to pay a ‘fee’ to maintain the organization outside of the fees I paid during the certification process. But I know you may already know that Halal goes way beyond food, it covers what is permitted by Islamic laws.

When you think about this, being Halal, is being a good follower of Islam. This includes buying the right stuff that is covered by the laws of Islam. So when the same thing is applied to other religions, like Judaism, having certified food that by a religious organization and get to pay the same types of fees to support these organizations.

Now to also tell you, in some sects of Islam, the moderates can replace Halal food with Kosher food.

The companies produce products under the Kosher laws because there is a market for them. Like everyone getting up in arms with Wal-Mart opening up a store in Dearborn and having Halal food, there is a market for this stuff but there are a lot of more mainstream Jewish followers than there are Islamic followers but they are gaining.
