It's fun watching (listening, mostly, as I ran a long load last night and today and listened to it all on SiriusXM) the liberal media, CNN in particular, just crap their pants over the fact that Trump is already backing down on his promises, already walking away from them, or walking them back, flip-flopping on them. Specifically, "repeal and replace" Obamacare. In an interview with the Wall Street Journal he stated that he would likely keep the preexisting condition and the part of older children still living in the home of their parents being able to remain on their parent's plan. I'm guessing that the media expected the "replace" part to not contain any provisions for health insurance, but rather 4 tickets to Epcot Center and a Golden Corral coupon.

A couple of those 'flip flop' provisions supposedly have already been sitting in republican bills.

Brian Williams practically brow beating Mark Helperin for being 'interestingly optimistic' about Trump's chances of winning the election. How dare him.

The part where the kids can stay on the parents insurance until 26, the insurance companies said they would allow that even if the law was repealed. As for the pre existing part, they would love to do away with that, but in the end that will stand too, that's what insurance is about, spreading the risk.

BREAKING NEWS:
According to the mainstream media... Trump hired a leading swamp resident to be Chief of Staff, and for his Chief Strategist and Senior Counselor, he hired Hitler.

There will be no honeymoon for Trump. The MSM has already started their war against him and his administration even before he picks it. None of his choices will be good enough for them. However, Trump has already rendered them irrelevant because he knows how to go over and around them to communicate directly with the American people to deliver his message. He has redefined political campaign strategy in American politics.

Very true. The liberal press is besides themselves that he will continue using twitter and everything else to correct some of their crazy reporting. I heard I think it was NBC complaining he hasn't done a press briefing yet. OMG. He has been a subject on what, every news cycle. He just did 60 minutes this past weekend. Nope. Not good enough. Hilarious.

They're all over him because he Tweeted a comment about the NYT reporting rumor and conjecture as being fact. He calls the press dishonest and horrible (because they are), and the press is really mad at him for it. The same day the NYT posted that letter about them being more objective, they had 19 articles in that day's online publication on Trump, all of them were negative hit pieces, 8 of them contained conjecture that has since been resoundingly debunked.

It was the NYT who started the rumor that there was a 'knife fight' going on in the transition team. CNN picked it up and got a day and a half out of that one. Did CNN "fact check" it? Do they know how many people were stabbed or cut in the knife fight? No.

Does anybody remember when the press got mad and whined for days, and turned it on The People to get them riled up about how egregious it was, when Obama gave them the slip in Hawaii eight years ago? Nope.

Does anybody remember how the press went on and on about how Obama's transition team was in chaos and disarray when it took him 3 weeks after the election to name his first cabinet appointment? Nope.

There's an entire Chicken Little full-on panic thing going about Trump's children (and Kushner) getting Top Secret Clearance. Never mind the fact that no such request has been made. But CNN had a panel of "experts" who really should know how it works, and clearly they don't. They claimed the children could not get security clearances because they couldn't be employed by the government. Sheesh. The President, Vice President (and their spouses) automatically have the highest security clearances. Technically, they don't even have a security clearance, as a clearance determines the top level of security you have. The President and Vice President are way above whatever that level might be. (so when people talk about Hillary not having a security clearance when she was the First Lady, they're right, she didn't, but she didn't have to have one to even sit in on the PDB). The President can give anyone access to any information he wants. The President Elect can't, but the President can. The President Elect has access to the same information the actual President has, only because the President gave him permission to have that access.

The entire concept of a security clearance, and the way it all works at every level and every department was put in place by presidential execute order. He can give anyone he wants whatever level of security he wants. And he can do it without them having to go through a background check.

Here's a pretty good article (a shockingly unbiased one) from The Hollywood Reporter, no less, about Steve Bannon. The only thing most people know about Steve Bannon is what comes from the New York Times and the rest of the mainstream media, and that, of course, is that Bannon is leader of the Alt-Right Movement and is Hilter, and that's all we really need to know.

Turns out... not so much.

"The media bubble is the ultimate symbol of what's wrong with this country. It's just a circle of people talking to themselves who have no f - ing idea what's going on. If The New York Times didn't exist, CNN and MSNBC would be a test pattern. The Huffington Post and everything else is predicated on The New York Times. It's a closed circle of information from which Hillary Clinton got all her information - and her confidence. That was our opening."
Boom

The above post with the photo was in reference to the wording 'The Trump Transition' above the headline at the bottom of the screen. IMO, it was incorrect and unnecessary to include that along with a headline about a different story.(not directly related)
The article below provides more info about this.
SURPRISE! CNN Makes A False Claim And Press Picks It Up

Breaking News!
CNN learns that crazy people believe, then act on conspiracy theories they read on the Internet.
Promptly blames Trump. Can't even report the story without mentioning Trump.
Insists Trump disavow every crazy person and every crazy action.

In other Breaking News: CNN becomes the guardian and official condemner of "fake news." <giggle>

In still more Breaking News: Ben Carson used to be the "former rival who then campaigned for Trump." Now that Carson has been named to Trump's cabinet, he's now officially known as the poor, poor "man that Trump called a psychopath and a child molester." Because you've got to get more people to hate Trump.
