The bulb in the table lamp beside my easy chair just burned out! Hopefully my wife will notice that when I carry my TV tray into the family room and plop down in my chair---that I'm really having a problem eating in the dark--- then---Just maybe---She'll change the bulb for me!

Thank you Louixo for your humorous, entertaining and accurate reply. Part of what I enjoy about this site is the unpredictable path a post may take. I realize it can be furstrating for a person who posts a specific question and gets 20 replies, none of which are germane to the original post.

On a recent post "Truck Driver Slang", Terry listed several trucker's terms. I added Monfort Lane to the list. A couple of people replied with more information about Monfort Meat Packing. The other day Crazynuf sent me a p.m. with a link giving a breif history of Monfort. This link also included ConAgra and the consolidation of the farming/food industry. Interesting reading! Some of the same things are happening in the trucking industry. One can learn about more than just expediting on E.O. Thanks Craze. Thanks E.O.

Now lets get back to the bully pulpit thing.

Jeff...you mean you don´t watch As the Wheels Turn?
In this weeks episode Coco meets with young dispatcher Bruce, who she is secretly in love with, and finds he has pierced his navel, and the monogrammed gold ring he wears there, has Cheri´s name on it!!..what can that mean!!!??......meanwhile, Davekc is about to lose the biggest contract of his career because they found out he secretly likes to go to the local Flying J, dressed as a 60´s go-go dancer!!!...what will his drivers think??!!...will they still want to run for him!!!??...LDB, and Phil from Team Caffee are speeding toward the border for a blood showdown, on who´s truck is the prettiest, and who will get the title of Miss Canadian Expediter!!....(my money is on Phil)........stay tuned!
