Just for grins.

Tell me more about the escarole. I'm originally from Rhode Island where escarole is a major ingredient of Italian chicken soup.

I had to pay escarole to A. Blair since I am driving their truck. They are using it in most of their recipes.

I'm so sorry. I couldn't resist.

Vinnie,
At TranStewart they don't have electronic logs or qualcomm so all they know is what you put in your logs.

Hard running and expediting do not go hand in hand. I do just fine here at Panther but then again I don't know your bills. Expediting isn't about running hard it's about running smart. Running hard elseware for lower rates but higher miles = less money. A buddy of mine left for more home time and is dying he is running hard with decent rates but once you add up the extra fuel wear and tear it is costing him a lot more to drive there needless to say he is on the way back. How long have you been in expediting? Do you go to the drivers web site?? If you do and want some help contact your Driver Councle Rep he can help you out with what to expect here at Panther. I happen to know the guy pretty well he is a great guy. Heck of a human being super person. ok ok its me lol

I know the guy too and he is a great guy, even if he does say so himself... uh, I mean even if I do say so myself. Picking on Ken aside, yes, he is definitely who you want to talk to. He knows his business well and will help you understand your business. You will find it time well spent.

We tried the Cats as a single

300.00 for a 100 miles or less load doesn't cut it

I am a fleet owner with this truck not driving it myself. If i was it would be a different story. If I have to pay a driver then fuel...you get the picture.

Panther is a great company, but it wasn't right for me. My team over there is doing great!

Vinnie... in post 19, you said you were an o/o, but now you tell us that you don't drive the vehicle you made the thread for. It would've helped us understand better if you had laid it all out beforehand. Now, we're not looking at you, but at another driver, as finding a new home. See what I mean?

I dunno. You could call C&M and get some figures. They don't have many t/ts on right now; and you'll need your own trailer. But they do keep us busy when there's freight.
