240 hp is a low horse motor for otr 300 to 330 good in a class 7 truck. No substitute for horsepower. If you can a 9 speed is the way to go, no spicer 7 speeds break alot and expensive to repair. Eaton fuller 6 is better then the spicer 7. But a 9 or ten speed is great for otr with a .74...

Cat motors are junk... two expensive to fix some you cannot rebuild and cat out of market which poses long term parts and service problems. Mercedes motors are absolutely horrendous, major expensive problems with egr motors constantly... again very very expensive to rebuild. very weak...

I would just take one tank off or cheaper yet put shut off valves on it. Need more fule mount a reefer tank next to rear axle. In any event you really dont need to be hauling that much fuel around with you anyway, reduces fuel economy and is harder on the steer axle and tires.

Make sure they check your rod an main bearings.... an egr cooler thats been leaking awhile can put coolant in the journals between the 3rd and 4th cylinders. Have the oil checked for evidence of coolant. Make sure you buy the parts with the 1 year warranty cause you will have the same problem...
