You just give me the impression that you will be happier than a pig in mud to get rid of drivers...I am not against progress but eventually with production/manufacturing all being outsourced...there becomes noone left that has any money to purchase anything.

From what I have heard, they are recruiting straight and tractor teams...solos in both are over supplied right now...personally if I am driving tractor trailer, I would be doing something more specialized such as flatbed. Even with van trailers, the freight would have to be more readily...

I'm just fine, I know we don't get much on weekends and out of Laredo it's hit or miss...they had a only one coming across this weekend and I was 2nd out...they offered me the paid move so I took it...I had a load deliver Monday, and an El Paso to Laredo on wed. I'm pretty close to my minimum...

Got a paid relocation to Dallas from Laredo. We will see if that works out.

Empty in Laredo, had 2 hours detention on loading side, load paid 691 miles, trip was 602...now with that "windfall" hope it doesn't hurt getting me out of Laredo...still hoping to get to the Pacific NW but not holding my breath.

Loading El Paso to Laredo at 2200 eastern, delivering direct altho this customer has a faster transit time then we usually do...13 hours instead of 14 for this run...delivers by 1100 eastern. 691 loaded miles.
