I have the Rand McNally GPS and DeLorme mapping on the laptop ..... while the GPS is great for enoute calculations, with the DeLorme I can simply click and say, "I want to go this other way", and it compensates, the GPS says, "Nah, I like this way better sucker, you have NO options!" :eek:

Get the expediter card from either Pilot/Flying J or TA/Petro ..gas earns shower credits, but you have to ask them to MANUALLY add the points, as swiping the crad out front will not make it happen.

I responded in your other thread also ... it may involve new cdl licenese, new insurance requirements, and as mentioned, it may be forbidden by the carrier. Overall, probably not a good idea.

When you tow .. you become a combination vehicle, new rules, new insurance requirements, new cdl liscense .. Lots of things to consider there ... carrier may not allow such a configuration also

A couple of thoughts here .... I was leased to Hot Shot Express for many years. You can purchase a good used class 8 truck for the same money you can buy a pickup, the tractor will run millions of miles, that pick up truck will not! Second, if you are satisfied that 30' is all you need...
