If I were replacing mine today, I would go with the 9900#, 3500 model in the 170" extended version. Would have bought one to begin with, but April 2010 they were not offering the 9900# model.

And do not count on seasons to be a business marker .. just keep plugging away .. and do NOT look at your revenue by the week, you will be disappointed for sure! I never figure less that a 90 day period. Then it seems to average out quite nicely. But you can have my Janurary revenue share ...

In Ohio, one simply lists the DOT number on the door since it will be used in interstate commerce, it is exempt from sales tax. (See, there is SOMETHING good about the Buckeye state .... I'll search around for something else ...... don't hold yer breath waiting on me) :eek:

THat dipstick has two sensors on it, one for over fill and one for under fill. The oil level must be between the two .. just check the oil with the dipstick?

I had a long talk with a Honda engineer about enclosing a 2000i, he plainly stated , that generator is ALREADY encased, further restricting the air flow around it may result in premature failure due to excessive heat. Even with an enclosed box with a fan installed will not allow it to cool...

Underpasses produce venturi affects .. same as a jet engine ..... the wind speeds pick up as it is "compressed" by the reduced space it occupies. Just my humble opinion

I bought the Yahama 2000 ... it runs my ac at low speed. When it cycles it jumps to high speed for a bit. I am runing a 5,000 btu unit, and the time between fills is about 6.5 hours ..... I intend to get the auxaillary tank, but will shop for a smaller one, I sure as heck do not want to...

Landstar does indeed require the hazmat ..... in a cargo van/Sprinter, you would haul, (or even be offered), very little of it. Mostly paint products. But .... as a team (if you can qualify for AA&E), you might be hauling explosives and ammo. Straight trucks are subject to it often, and...
