I would say they'd be good for a Sprinter because of the low idle....city driving the operating temp takes a dive, highway is ok. But you stop at a ship/rec the temp drops like a rock.

My 99 Dodge van (pre-Sprinter) came with LTX's as well....2 inches of snow on a slight upgrade it just pushed the snow ahead of them...garbage BUT good summer tire. For those of you Sprinter drivers that go into Canada..thinking of Turtle You may not have this link...

We are a team in a Sprinter with Express 1 and still doing ok during this period....I said ok not great, terrific nor busy...just ok.

I figure from I 80 up 294 to 290 to 90 thru to S. Beloit..the transponder saves about a half hour of time...to those solo straights this is a good savings of time on the old log book.

As much as my wife and I team in a Sprinter..I'd have to agree about staying away from them (Sprinters)and a van....it's a struggle these days at best.
