    I don't think universal healthcare would work for you guys....it'd be a nightmare to administer and then there the individual states as well.... The simplier method would be to scrap everything now and subsidize the low to middle income IF they really want to spend taxpayers money that badly...

    One thing about Immigration on BOTH sides of the border I have learned...There is minimum standards to meet and after that there is a lot of "Officer Discretion" An officer can wave off so much with a stroke of a pen. Meaning what works with one applicant will not necessarliy work with another...

    Yes...shes American....and no she hasn't been back to Canada recently. As I said she's had same card for 8 yrs now and it's still good. Why difference I don't know....Immigration is real weird.

    Sorry Your wrong again...the US permanent resident card you don't have to re-apply ONLY the card needs to be renewed at 10 years. Sorry again....I will repeat this one more time.....Her Canadian resident card does NOT expire in 5 years.... I was told this by a Canadian Immigration officer...

    This is the only way your wife don't lossing her PR not because she is married with a Canadian citizen .. NO....we were told by Canada Immigration. As long as she stays married to me she will never lose it her PR that is......You'd be correct if she left on her own...she can only be gone 2.5-3...
