Refusing to cooperate with Border Patrol

I can't speak for Scott, but I suggest that our vigilance begins at the border and should be increased at the border. How about deportation? Jeez there are over 12 million illegal aliens in this country, I rather doubt that the majority of them are hanging out within 10 miles of the border...

He also makes a mean chicken to rival the Colonel's, not only in rank but flavor and quality.

    Panther rates???

I agree. Ying-Yang can't apply to Panther because the 2 headed cat doesn't have a single ying-yang between the two of them. No wonder some of their policy and actions seem to come from a constipated entity. I believe our Cuban friend was referring to Yin-Yang. This still doesn't apply to...

    Carrier cutting rates

I can see that being common in the food service industry, especially chain restaurants where probably 60% of the employees are part-timers. Most full time working adults with half a brain and given the choice of more hours or an hourly pay raise, would choose the raise.

    Panther rates???

Panther also has an obligation to their partners, their Panther Partners. If we as owner/operators are truly business partners in the Cat's eyes, shouldn't they be looking out for our interests also? Does Panther have an obligation to bid on loads that only pay a van .67/mile, just to get...

    Carrier cutting rates

Then why not go with a Ma & Pa company and make the same rate per mile and avoid getting dinged with all the extra fees a large carrier charges their O/Os?

    Carrier cutting rates

Exactly! Why is it so common among truck drivers to want more miles, faster speed limits and more hours, instead of a higher rate of pay? You never hear of hourly workers demanding a 60 hour week. Big wheels rollin'. Got keep them rollin'. Big wheels rolln' movin' on.

Banks No Match for Trucks Where Rigs Pay Twice as Much

Stalks in decline will not be able to support the weight of the ears as the corn matures. If the stalks completely fail, unripe corn will rot on the ground, pushing corn prices higher. You need to keep hydrated, especially after your strenuous work outs. Without an adequate intake of water...

    Nice little gadget!

Yeah, I deserve the Goober award. I got caught up in my rant and failed to click on and read the FAQs. I see it has a thermal electric generator that runs the fan, so no need for batteries. I must admit that is pretty cool! Still high priced and burning wood and cigarette butts releases...

    Nice little gadget!

The link really doesn't say much about how this stove works, mostly just a bunch of "green" nonsense: ...eliminating the need for heavy, expensive, polluting petroleum gas. By using renewable resources for fuel instead of petroleum, you're reducing your carbon footprint. You'll also keep fuel...
