    Your Truck Was Observed...

Rich is correct in that they Roberts/Fedex has had a company following drivers and doing spot checks. That has gone on for years. I don't know for certain if the company is the same one, just renamed, or a totally new one. I'm not at Fedex so it isn't much of an issue personally. As for going...

    Expediters Going Hungry, For Real

I think you misunderstood my post. People fail at times at every carrier for one reason or another. What I was looking at was the amount of stated times he used his WG equipment, and the milage on the truck. Those items having little to do with whether he is a first or third owner of the truck...

    Expediters Going Hungry, For Real

This is the WG supplies Straight Trucks : WG Equipment, Load bars, blankets, Pallet Jack etc And the truck Straight Trucks : EASY TO REFINANCE = 48 MONTHS @ $1122 A MONTH If that truck only has 700,000 on a 8 year old truck, that truck has been doing some sitting. But that explains the sale.

Has Anyone Met a Hobby Expediter?

Quite a few over the years. Primarily folks that are retired and or have a second income or pension. Many don't have the resources for the high dollar RV, so they choose this as a alternative. Not uncommon at all. Many of these same folks don't have to expedite at all. Or at least not for...

    Expediters Going Hungry, For Real

If one needs that dose of reality, just go and check the classifieds from the last several days. See a WG'er that sank and is selling his truck and all his WG supplies in a seperate add. Suprisingly, according to his ad, he only used the items a few times. What a waste of money. That is...

    Panther Discreminating The O/o !!!!

I think Leo addressed it better than I did. I was trying to keep it to a small handful of lines.

    Panther Discreminating The O/o !!!!

With all due respect, I see nothing of a racist nature based on your quote. With regards to pay, send it in Friday and you won't have to worry about it. Good grief, Don't complicate the simple.

    Panther Discreminating The O/o !!!!

Based on the current information, I think at this point, we can rule out any racist comments. With regards to pay, it depends on what pay plan you are on. So the first question would be......which one? If you are expecting pay @ 7 days, then you are expecting a 3 percent charge. If like...

    re:beware leasing

Re: beware leasing I really sympathize with your situation. It actually is a excellent post of what can really happen. Your post really illustrates the need to never enter into expediting under capitalized.

    Does ExpeditersOnline.com work for you?

If only EO was around when I started. There were certainly some Rolaid moments without it.

    Truck strike- rumor or FYI

You are right, there is a lot of places they run with a heavy foot. With regards to the stike, I don't think it will have any impact unless the ATA or some of the larger carriers participate. It would have to be on the scale of how a strike went back in the 70's. Just MY opinion, even...

    Truck strike- rumor or FYI

A big percentage of them would realize some decent profits if they weren't so compelled to run 80 mph a lot of the time. And out west, I am probably being very conservative with that number.

    That's funny but so true.

    Expediting secret 48

I agree as well. You can minimize some things but the rest to some extent is a daily lottery if leased to a carrier in which one is dependant on them for loads.

    Successful Expediting, secret 47

I see as well some interesting prospectives. As far as Phil's comment about dispatch changes, that was known by many months ago. But the others that were aware outside of the Fed I quess are only semi-professional? It wasn't like it was a "secret" Probably why the post you referenced...

    Expediting secret 48

I think that is the beauty of EO. One can see everything from rumor mill stories, plain bs, to plain verifiable facts or just opinions. They can then determine the source and apply it to their own wants and needs. Some do well deciphering the difference, and some only believe what they want...
