    Take Care...(of your tires...)

About 10 years ago, a freind and I had the same trucks. We ordered them identical, except the color. When it came time to put tires o our trucks, we got them the same day,at the same place, Jackson Tire in Jackson, Ga by the Flying J.He went with bridgestone 726's for drives, I went with...

Good year runs the unicircle technology for their recaps.Their is no seam on a goodyear recap.Kinda like a rubberband that is stretched over the original tire casing, then snapped onto the glue-covered casing.look at your recap, it should say unicircle on the side of the recap, where it meets the...

    Sleeping cool in the heat

Well, making him go outside to rip an air biscuit is no fun, either.I mean, how is he going to give you a dutch oven being outside? ( a dutch oven is when a person doing the farting pulls the covers over their spouses head shortly after a fart has occured under the sheets.)

    Take Care...(of your tires...)

I know that good year x-rays the trade-in tires and can actually tell if a tire was run while flat. They actually call it "run flat" and will not give you any credit for it nor re-cap it.

    Sleeping cool in the heat

Walmart sells a little stainless steel 12" fan for around $15.00, and it works great! A small fan does save alot of money, and makes those nights of uncontrollable farting alot more durable.

    Pull around back Driver!

Wouldn't you believe, that the company I work for, their ins. co wants me to keep a logbook, even though I am in a van. They say they want this done so when they or the dot comes in to do an audit, there is no confusion as to why there are no logs in my file, even though I am in a van.If I would...

APU with all the bells, or roof air with portable genset?

Yes, that is true, but the best would cost over 9k. At $300.00 a generator, you could buy one a year and still come out ahead. And I dont think there is any laws in cali govening gas generators or lawnmowers just yet.I know several people that have rigmaster and proheat and a few others that have...

Sounds like you have the market cornered.I slept through a load offer 1 hour after I unloaded.I saw a sprinter with all kids of chicken lights on it last night, so that gave me an idea to light mine up. I have a box of 100 led's that I never put on my s/t.would a set of air horns on the roof be...

APU with all the bells, or roof air with portable genset?

It was on a s/t, in a 24x24x36 aluminum tool box.I just left the door open when it was running, no problems there.I had a battery charger/maintainer hard wired into the battery posts to keep them charged that ran off of the generator. heat was a small 12" space heater from wally world.I did put...

People say I don't know Jack!

I used piper's idea and put my EO screenname on the expeditors online bumper sticker.Might be easier that way to identify fellow e/o's. I wonder if lawrence ever thought of e/o license plates? Maybe underwear? And I have no comment on the wiener thing.

APU with all the bells, or roof air with portable genset?

I used a gas generator from pep-boys.It lasted 14,000 hours, no problems.6.5hp, 3,000 watt. pretty quiet, used 12 gallons in 72 hours.I still have it in the garage. It saved me a ton of money.

Looks like somebody hates the strt: I just turned down an offer to Tulsa [from near Cincinnati] for 90 cpm  Somebody needs a reality check, I'm thinkin. This is a perfect example of why I went from a s/t to a van. The dispatchers have absolutely no idea how much it costs to operate the...
