    Average Miles

Your average- what is it based on? loaded or empty miles, or total miles. What percentage of deadhead do you have to get the load? what is your all mile pay average? amount of deductions? for what? monthly or weekly? Average weight per load?I get a kick out of some people when they leave a decent...

How's Panther drivers doing right now?

I would avoid the truck in knoxville simply for the fact that it has been sitting close to 2 years now.Granted, it is a beautiful truck, but is a 18-speed trans really needed in a expeditor? I think it is ovekill, if you ask me.But well worth the price he wants for it, with everything that is on...

    sprinter

How far do you live from a major city, such as KC or St Louis? Ceva logistics, which used to be Eagle air freight, is hiring, but I am not sure in what cities. It's worth a try.

You're not welcome at the Tampa J

The Detroiter, of all places, making expeditors park in the back of the paid parking lot? What a slap in the face.I thought I posted this last night, but I googled Lazy days rv supercenter in Tampa, across from the flying J. REad up on their history, and you will see that it says they own the...

    Pull around back Driver!

After reading all of this, I went to my little dot regulations book I have, and cannot seem to find anything that clearly says what cargo vans can and cannot do.Or vehicles under 10,000 gvw, what they are exempt from.I'd like to know where this is,So if I am ever pulled over, I have it ready to...

    Test truck

Hey! that was a great movie!! Try a truck dealer that you bought the truck from. When I ordered my first s/t, they let me use a cab/chassis with no body on it off the lot to use. The Instructor was not too amused, but it worked.Great for backing around those cones, just look out the back window...

We don't like your kind around here.

I just googled Lazy Days Rv Centers (in tTampa, fFl) and took a look at their company history.Wouldnt you figure it , they own the Flying J across the street from their dealership also, which explains why we are not welcome there.

    More Home Time?

All of these reasons and examples show that you are simply blessed more than others to the fact that you have your wife with you, not only as a passenger, but a co-driver as well. And using money-saving devices pay for themselves over time,as well as for conveinence.I know you wouldnt go this...

    Rig Master Generators

Just a thought, maybe it would be a good idea to check and clean all battery and alternator connections, as well as all ground wires. I've had the same problem with my powertech generator, and I did that, and did not have any more trouble out of it.

    More Home Time?

Sorry, Mr.Phil, but I have to disagree with you one the part "the fact that wait times between loads have increased is not a reason to deadhead home.It is a reason to stay out". Please remember, not everyone has the luxury that you have of owning a paid-for truck/house on wheels where is can be...

You're not welcome at the Tampa J

With all of this in mind,it might not be a bad idea for all of us to share with one another restautants that are decent, and cheap to eat at, other than truckstops.Maybe I should of started a new threead for this. I think it would be good to make this list for areas that we normally sit waiting...

    Diesel Prices

I am usually a positive person, but this is a losing battle.Until ALL of us stand up together and protest the lack of pay along with the ridiculous low fuel surcharge,it will just get worse with us, the Owner-Operator, being taken advantage of.
