    A few burning questions.

And please dont go with a company that requires you to pay primary insurance, which is the insurance that you and the co usually pay combined. Last week, I was talking to a co. out of chicago that required me, in a cargo van now, to pay primary ins. with him paying me .85cpm. Get real.If I was...

Toased? This job has the ability to do that to a person. But toasted is what I will be, if I am home for the weekend.Last year I tried to cook my hot dogs with a mig welder. It didnt work out too well. And what is the idea of the Madco truckstop taking out the restaurant and putting a subway in?

Canada cargo van with high ceiling

What, a Ford cargo van that is wider? With dual rear wheels? I think you are thinking of a cube/box truck, which would be over 10,000 gvw, and use more fuel. As far as a ford with a high top is concerned, it can be done. One of my first jobs was converting new vans for the handicapped,which...

    whats left

I think they are doing it in the way of coming out with a new contract so ridiculous that when the old contract runs out they say, here is the new contract, accept it and sign it or be gone. I have seen and heard alot of that going on.

    why are owners so crooked

I was going to say, expeditor services is a good co, I have several freinds that drive for them.If they would hire solo's, I would drive for them in a heartbeat. To tell you the truth, I really think the single truck o/o is on its way to be a thing of the past.It seems everyone wants teams, but I...

Anyone ever had a sleeper added onto?

What size box do you have? a 22 ft? if so, you could get a 20 ft to give you 2 extra ft for a bigger sleeper without cutting and stretching the frame, or moving the rear axle back. I had a 20' box on one of my trucks- actually, a 26 ft with a 6 ft sleeper built into it, with 20 ft cargo.it was a...
