Sprinter I smell raw diesel in the cab

Well, if you're smelling raw diesel, then there's some raw diesel somewhere. If it's not on the bottom of your shoes or on your hands, then there's a leak somewhere. Let it idle for 15-30 minutes and check. Pop the cover and make sure the fuel rail isn't leaking. Look carefully at that rubber...

    The Trump Card...

The Democrats are in trouble, and they know it. This video is from a YouTube channel called The Young Turks, but it could just as easily be named The Liberals' Liberals. They are classic liberal progressives. They are all for the whole microaggression thing, gender bathrooming, if it feels good...

Well, the NAFTA Highway is a term borne from and used mainly in conjunction with conspiracy theories about the North American Union, thanks in large part to the creation of the European Union, which effectively eliminates the borders, at least with regard to trade, with the US, Canada and...

Cargo Van Speedway This months 2,500 bonus points

I rarely print out coupons anymore. I redeem them to the phone, and they scan the Barcode right on the phone. Bizarrely, though, you can't redeem several coupons BAM BAM BAM. You need to wait like 5 minutes between sending them to your phone.

    Fastest guitarist in the world

I didn't know this was a thing. But apparently it's a popular thing. The guy in the above video plays it pretty clean even at the fastest speeds. But Guinness has shut down the category until they can find a way to determine "flawless" in the performance. Investigation: Who is The Fastest Guitar...

    Lost Words

Conversely, we also have many words and phrases in use today that came from what is to most people obsolete technology. One of my favorites is the dashboard, or shortened to dash. We have computer dashboards where you'll find your status indicators and controls for the software program you're...

Yeah, I very rarely put biodiesel into mine, as well. Need extra Howes Meaner Kleaner to compensate for the biodiesel.

Broken "go to first unread post" button

Seems to be working fine again now. When using the phone and the Web browser's Responsive Design, clicking on any thread takes me to the first unread post, as it should.

Wow. Diesel at the Sturbridge, MA Pilot $2.59. At the Shell station closer by on New Oxford, $1.99

    Just some sprinter observations

Could be either, probably effect, but it could also be both, what with the way everything is interconnected on these things. The O2 sensor is mounted in the exhaust manifold to monitor how much unburned oxygen is in the exhaust as the exhaust exits the engine. Monitoring oxygen levels in the...

Why does the Transit have 2 batteries

No, not really. But they're close. They're more like a hybrid marine or truck battery than a true deep cycle battery. They are just deep-er cycle than traditional wet cycle batteries. They can handle low amp draws, like in the case of a marine (or truck) battery, the draw of running lights or a...

    Just some sprinter observations

Ever seen a BSOD (Blue Screen of Death) on a Windows computer? You know those error codes you get on the BSOD? They're exactly as helpful at the error codes you get from a DRB-III reader in most cases. An EGR Performance error may be a faulty EGR valve, true enough, but the EGR may not be...

Why does the Transit have 2 batteries

The BAGM-48H6-760 battery is kind of a smallish battery. It's Group 48 (sometimes referred to as H6, or in this case, both), and has 760 CCA. It also has a RC (Reserve Capacity) of 120 minutes, and an Amp Hour capacity of 70 Ah. These new vans have a lot of electronics, what with everything...

That means there's an ongoing pressure leak somewhere. It could be the turbo resonator, or a split hose. That big hose on top going into the engine intake has a tendency to split, and it'll do it on the back side where you can't see it.

    Evolution Deniers

I don't know that governmental alphabet soup agencies really play a part in Polydactylism, since it is a generic congenital deformity that affects humans, dogs, cats, brown howler monkeys, and Oprah Winfrey. The gene can be dominant (usually in the mother) or recessive (usually the father)...

Portable Generator deals/for sale? Best a/c unit?

As long as you can get replacement parts and get it repaired, they're great. Same with the Russian Planar heaters.

Portable Generator deals/for sale? Best a/c unit?

The only real problem with the cheaper generators is most of them are just lawn mower engines, with the standard accompanying sound loudness you'd expect. That can be a problem in the car parking lots of truck stops, Walmarts, and most everywhere else. Something to think about. An enclosure with...

Would like to know what the largest size straight truck there is ....

If they'll sign you on in the first place, which is highly doubtful, then sure, dispatchers will call you for loads. But after about the third breakdown under load theyll stop calling you because of reliability issues. 20 years ago you might have gotten away with a truck like that for...

Would like to know what the largest size straight truck there is ....

The problem is not repairs, but when those repairs occur. If they occur while loaded, it's a big fat hairy deal of a problem.
